The two Alexanders: Shabalov vs Areshchenko

In the battle of the two leaders, Shabalov pressed hard against Areshchenko but the young Ukrainian defended actively, sacrificing the exchange to expose Shabalov's king and finally escaping with a draw. It was a game befitting the two most positive players in the event.
